There comes a time in life that must all come to terms with, where successful people come from. Well the truth behind the matter is that true success begins within, we all have unlimited talents that us humans face & can pursue in life, only when in begins to have faith behind the actions they want from their lives. Throughout my studies & adventures I began to come across all types of people, but the only one that stuck with me were all the successful people I noticed that hadn’t seen their own talents for themselves. I once had a roommate say once & I quote “All I need is a flash drive to start my own computer repair business”.
Now all it would have taken him to own his own business would have been a mere $50 flash drive, now when I heard that I chewed him out with all the most respect. It takes some people millions of dollars to even get a business up & running, but I thought to myself what was holding him back? The word finally came to me once I cleared my head it was fear. He had feared if he were to start

His own business could he do the right things to keep things going in his favor. Well any true entrepreneur knows to truth behind success is having faith that all will work out despite what difficulties that may lay ahead.
Several times a day we hear people achieving something great – something that we only dreamt of but never attempted for. Such news may arouse a feeling of disappointment in us that usually ends up with fake statements on our part. For instance, we know what others did were our areas of interest too, but since we couldn’t do it, the subconscious mind overcomes this feeling of guilt by another thing. Under such circumstances, instead of admitting ‘I could not do it’, we say ‘I did not want to do it.’ This where the story begins!
Will power is the single most effective feeling or state of mind that revitalizes our minds and reenergizes our bodies to go for the target. There is no use setting goals and objectives unless and until you don’t push yourself repeatedly to achieve those specific goals. There come situations when disappointment presses you hard, but you must make an effort to increase your will power so that you can achieve what you want in the first place. The following are a few strategies on how to increase will power that are hindered by external and internal stimuli.

1. Set Realistic Goals
Setting goals is indeed tricky and challenging. In an endeavor to achieve the maximum, many people set larger than life goals. You must not get overly excited by the sudden boost of energy and motivation because it can actually negatively affect your potential. Set goals that you can really achieve in a reasonable amount of time.
2. Opt for Goal Setting Strategy
Goal setting theory suggests that large goals should be divided into few smaller goals so that you can achieve them before losing interest in the goals altogether. Targets that take a considerable amount of time to accomplish usually reduce a person’s morale.

3. Evaluate Your Potentials and Then Set Deadlines
In the beginning, you feel like setting an example by accomplishing your targets as soon as possible. There is nothing wrong in aiming high. However, you must not be unrealistic and dreamy. First of all, comprehensively evaluate your potentials and then set the deadline. Don’t keep it too tight, neither too relaxed. Be moderate and realistic simultaneously.
4. Find and Overcome the Root Cause if Something Holds You Back
Fear of failure, workload stress, and peer pressure are among the most common root causes that hinder performance. If you feel as if you can’t accomplish the goal, figure out the reason and overcome it. Unless and until you boost will power in yourself, things won’t change.
5. Beware of Bogus Excuses and Learn to be Proud of Your Efforts
‘It’s just too hard for me’ is a common bogus excuse to escape personal and professional challenges. It’s true that each person has different capabilities, but just because it takes long to achieve a goal, that doesn’t mean that you can’t ever accomplish it. Keep trying and be proud that at least you are making an effort.
6. Be Persistent and Enjoy the Journey
At times, progress over the course of goal accomplishment may ask you to take a break, which can be very risky. You must be persistent while also enjoying this phase from scratch to goal accomplishment. Learn at every step and achieve deadlines.
7. Keep a Track Record
Keep recording your progress over a period of time so that you can reward yourself on a regular basis. In addition, a record will help you to track when, where, and why your progress slowed down (if ever).
8. Meditation Can Help
Meditation also helps to increase will power. You tend to gain psychological strength in the form of enhanced determination so that you can achieve even the toughest goals of your life.

External criticism is a truth that cannot be denied, so it’s useless to be disheartened by the negative opinions of those who can make you neither better nor worse. Listen to your heart and follow your goals with fortitude and will power.
